Quave Pager Google Calendar demo

This page documents the least-privilege Google Calendar integration for project pager-503117. Pager reads selected calendars and turns upcoming events into Pager alarms.

Reviewer navigation steps

  1. Install or open Quave Pager on Android or macOS.
  2. Paste the reviewer Pager API key in Setup so the receiver can register.
  3. Open Calendar, choose Connect Google, and approve the read-only Google Calendar scope.
  4. Return to Calendar, choose the calendars to enable, and optionally edit reminder minutes.
  5. Run Sync all. Pager creates Calendar alarm-type reminders for selected events only.
  6. Open Alarms to confirm upcoming Calendar alarms; events beginning with -n or declined RSVP are muted.

Requested Google scopes

Quave Pager requests only two read-only scopes:https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.calendarlist.readonlyto list calendars a user is subscribed to, andhttps://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events.readonlyto read events from the calendars the user enables in Pager. Pager does not create, edit, or delete Google Calendar events.

Quave Pager's use of raw or derived user data received from Google Workspace APIs adheres to the Google User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
